FAQS

Our clearance tyres are genuine Goodyear Racing tyres offered at reduced prices. They may include:

  • Obsolete or superseded sizes and patterns

  • Older build-date stock

  • Overstock from past events or bulk orders

All tyres listed are new, unused race tyres unless otherwise stated in the product description.

Clearance pricing does not mean the tyres are fake or faulty. They are discounted because they are:

  • Older specification or build dates

  • Superseded by newer compounds or constructions

  • Excess stock we no longer need to hold in regular inventory

This helps free up warehouse space and gives you access to quality race rubber at a lower price.

Yes – provided they are used as intended and are suitable for your car and category.

All tyres are stored correctly and inspected before sale. However, because these are competition tyres, performance can vary with age, usage conditions and setup. We always recommend:

  • Checking build dates and specifications in the listing

  • Having tyres fitted and inspected by a professional motorsport tyre fitter

  • Following your category’s safety and tyre regulations

If you’re unsure, please contact us before purchasing.

Clearance tyres can have older build dates than our regular stock. The approximate age and any relevant notes (e.g. “older build date”, “superseded compound”) will be indicated in the product description wherever possible.

If build date is critical for your racing class, check the listing details or contact us before ordering.

Older tyres can still be perfectly usable, but peak performance is generally achieved with fresher build dates. Many drivers use clearance tyres for:

  • Practice and test days

  • Club and local-level events

  • Track days and non-championship outings

For front-running national or high-level competition, you may prefer newer stock if maximum grip and consistency are essential. Always consider your performance goals, class rules and budget when choosing.

Clearance stock is extremely limited and changes regularly. Once a size or pattern is sold out, it may not be available again.

If you see a tyre that suits your car and category, we recommend purchasing promptly, as there is no guarantee it will be restocked.
